What is Semaglutide (GLP-1)

Semaglutide is part of a group of cutting-edge medications that researchers have found to be extremely effective in helping people not only lose weight, but maintain their weight.

This group of medications mimic the effects of a hormone called glucagon-like-peptide-1 (GLP-1) which your body releases after eating to stimulate the secretion of the proper amount of insulin from the pancreas. This process ensures that glucose (sugar) can be transported to your cells to be used as fuel. As a result, you feel full faster and your blood sugar levels decrease.

What are the Benefits of Semaglutide?

  • Reduce appetite
  • Slow down digestion
  • Reduces overall body fat
  • Lowers body sugar

In our opinion the biggest benefit to semaglutide is that people are actually able to stick to a healthy diet leading to a gradual and safe weight loss journey.
